Every file in Brault for iPhone opens in a full-screen preview with Annotate and Comments buttons under it: read what the team said, follow their annotations on the image or the video frame, and reply from the phone. Uploads work the other way round, from the phone into the right library or board.
Open and preview a file
- In
Files, pick a brandspace, then a library, folder or board, and tap a file. - The preview loads: photos zoom with a pinch, videos play inline and go fullscreen, audio plays, PDFs page, and design files show their preview. The same 50+ formats the web app previews work here; supported file formats lists them.
- Tap the X to return to the folder. The version and size sit under the file name at the top, and the
β¦menu holds the file actions.
Read and reply to comments
- Tap
Commentsunder the preview. The sheet lists every comment with its author and time; comments pinned to a spot on an image show a numbered marker on the preview, and the eye button hides or shows the markers. - Tap
Replyunder a comment, or write inAdd a commentβ¦at the bottom to start a new thread, then send.@mentions a teammate,Resolvecloses a thread, andAnnotatedraws on the image before you comment. - Mentions and replies to your comments appear in
Activity, with an unread badge on the tab, so you can follow a review without opening every file.
What you can comment on follows your role in the brandspace and the access level of the folder or board; access levels explains what each one allows.
Upload from your iPhone
- Open the library, folder or board where the files belong and tap the Add button.
- Choose
Choose from your photos,Capture with the cameraorBrowse Files, then pick one or several items.Add from Braultlinks files that already live in another folder of the brandspace without uploading them again. - The upload runs in the background and the files appear in the folder as they finish, with previews generated a moment later. Uploads count against the brandspace storage like any upload on the web; plans and limits lists the caps.
