Advertising Measurement: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and TikTok Technology Limited, so that we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising and attribute registrations and subscriptions to the campaign that produced them. Advertising Measurement on Our Website: On our public marketing pages we load advertising measurement scripts from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and TikTok Technology Limited. Those scripts set the first-party cookies described in our Cookie Policy and report page views to their provider. They are not loaded on our sign-up or sign-in pages, and they are not loaded on the signed-in parts of the service.
Advertising Measurement From Our Servers: When you complete one of a small set of milestones, namely creating an account, creating a workspace, your first upload or transfer, starting a subscription, and upgrading a subscription, our servers send a record of that milestone to the Meta Conversions API and the TikTok Events API. That record contains a SHA-256 hash of your email address, a SHA-256 hash of your internal Brault user identifier, the IP address and browser user agent of the request in which the milestone happened, and the advertising click and cookie identifiers described in our Cookie Policy. We never send your email address itself, and the hash of your email address is included only when you have given consent for marketing. If you refuse or withdraw that consent, we send nothing at all to Meta or TikTok.
Legal Basis: In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland we rely on your consent, which you give through the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time through the cookie preferences. Elsewhere we rely on our legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of our advertising, and you can object at any time by turning marketing off in the same cookie preferences. Withdrawing consent or objecting does not affect anything we sent before you did so.
If you connect your Google account to import files from Google Drive into Brault, we access your Google Drive data solely to provide the import feature, using read-only access (the Google "drive.readonly" scope):
We never create, modify, or delete anything in your Google Drive, and we never use Google user data for advertising or sell it. Brault's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion of Google data:
If you connect your Microsoft account to import files from OneDrive (or, with your organization's consent, a SharePoint document library) into Brault, we access your Microsoft data solely to provide the import feature, using read-only Microsoft Graph scopes:
We never create, modify, or delete anything in your OneDrive or SharePoint content, and we never use Microsoft user data for advertising or sell it.
Retention and deletion of Microsoft data:
Access and Update: You can access and update your personal information by logging into your account.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails.
Do Not Track Signals: Our Website does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services. You can delete your files at any time from within the Services, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@brault.app. When you delete a file or your account, we remove the associated data from our active systems and purge it from backups on a rolling basis, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Website and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, or country. This includes the information described in section 4 that we send to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and TikTok Technology Limited, which those companies may transfer to countries outside the European Economic Area under the transfer safeguards those providers publish.
