Vimeo pricing 2026: plans, Studio and real cost per team

Vimeo pricing in 2026 starts with a Free plan and, on Vimeo's pricing page, three self-serve tiers: Starter at $12 per seat a month billed annually ($20 monthly), Standard at $25 ($41 monthly) and Advanced at $75 ($125 monthly), plus Enterprise on quote. At the same time, Vimeo is moving every individual subscriber to three new plans, Creator ($9.50 a month), Core and Professional ($70 a month), and moving accounts it classifies as businesses to Studio, reported at $400 a month billed annually. Vimeo is a video hosting, player and review platform, owned since November 2025 by Bending Spoons.

The two lineups make Vimeo harder to price than its single page suggests. This guide sets out what each plan includes, how the 2026 changes work, where bandwidth and managed storage change the bill, and what a team pays per year. What the product does beyond the price is in the Vimeo review, and the review tools it competes with are compared in best video review software.

TL;DR

  • Pricing page: Free $0, Starter $12, Standard $25, Advanced $75 per seat a month billed annually ($20, $41 and $125 monthly), Enterprise custom.
  • Storage is 2, 4 and 7 TB; bandwidth is capped at 2 TB a month on every self-serve plan.
  • New individual plans: Creator $9.50 a month, Core (price not published), Professional $70 a month; legacy plans move over at renewal.
  • Business accounts go to Studio: 10 TB, 10 seats, 36 TB of yearly bandwidth, reported at $400 a month billed annually.

How much does Vimeo cost in 2026?

Vimeo publishes its self-serve prices on vimeo.com/upgrade-plan, where every paid tier is labeled "per seat / month" and annual billing takes about 40% off the monthly price. The figures below were read from that page, including the plan data behind the price toggle, on 2026-10-14.

Verified 2026-10-14 on vimeo.com/upgrade-plan and help.vimeo.com ("About Vimeo plans"). Free plan figures from Vimeo's 2026 new-plans page; Vimeo's help center still lists 3 GB for Free embeddable and non-public video.

Every plan uploads files of up to 300 GB and 24 hours each, and Vimeo sets no limit on the number of videos, only on storage. Video review, configurable review links, downloadable review comments, version history and file transfer are included from Starter up. Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM, custom permissions and dedicated support.

Seats need a careful read: the comparison table lists 1, 5 and 10 users, while every price says "per seat" and the help center allows up to 200 seats, so confirm the count at checkout.

What changed in Vimeo's plans in 2026?

Vimeo began consolidating its individual plans in 2026, after the lineup had grown to include Plus, Pro, Starter, Standard, Advanced and others. Its new plans page says three tiers replace them, and that legacy subscribers move automatically at their next renewal, with an email about 30 days before.

New plan Price Managed storage Bandwidth Seats
Free $0 1 GB 1 TB a month None
Creator $9.50 a month 50 GB 1 TB a month None
Core Not published 300 GB 2 TB a month 1 (up to 3)
Professional $70 a month 7 TB 2 TB a month 10 (up to 20)
Studio (business) $400 a month billed annually, as reported 10 TB 36 TB a year 10 (up to 200)

Verified 2026-10-14 on vimeo.com/new-plans-feb-2026-30 and vimeo.com/studio-plan. Vimeo does not state the billing period for Creator and Professional, does not publish Core's price, and does not print Studio's price; the Studio figure is PhotographyTalk's report of 2026-09-05.

Every individual account now has 7 TB of total storage, but only managed storage holds videos that are embedded or not public. On Creator and Core, a library past 50 GB or 300 GB of private and embedded video can still upload, but the new videos cannot be embedded or made private. Review links also change shape: one per video on Free, unlimited on paid plans, with reviewer downloads, expiry up to 30 days and custom appearance on the higher tiers.

What is the Vimeo Studio plan and who gets moved to it?

Vimeo Studio is the plan for agencies, businesses and production teams, with 10 seats, 3 Admin seats, 10 TB of storage, 36 TB of yearly bandwidth with no monthly cap, three concurrent live events and priority support, according to Vimeo's Studio page. Vimeo's Plan Usage Policy, updated on 2026-06-30, classifies an account as business use when it is used by or for a company, team, nonprofit, school or other organization.

PhotographyTalk reported that Studio costs $400 a month billed annually, $4,800 a year, and that it replaces Advanced at $75 a month for the accounts it affects; Vimeo's owner, Bending Spoons, put the share of affected paying customers at under 10%, and the reclassification applies regardless of seat count. Customers get 30 days of notice before renewal.

Vimeo's price timeline, from sources we could verify, reads as follows.

What does Vimeo cost a team per year?

Vimeo's cost is set by storage, the users the plan lists, and whether Vimeo treats the account as a business. The table prices four common shapes on annual billing next to Brault, which prices by storage with a small number of included users.

Team Vimeo Brault
Freelancer, 200 GB of client cuts $144 (Starter, 2 TB, 1 user) $48 (Lite, 200 GB)
3 people, 2 TB $300 (Standard, 4 TB, 5 users listed) $336 (Pro, 2 TB, 3 users)
10 people, 5 TB $900 (Advanced, 7 TB, 10 users listed) $1,128 (Growth, 4 users plus 6 at $4)
Agency moved to Studio, 10 people, 10 TB $4,800 (Studio, as reported) $1,668 (Growth plus 5 TB at $9)

Per year on annual billing, before tax. Vimeo: plan prices verified 2026-10-14 on vimeo.com/upgrade-plan, assuming the listed users are included; Vimeo labels prices per seat, so confirm the seat count at checkout. Studio from PhotographyTalk, 2026-09-05. Brault: Lite $4 a month (200 GB, 1 user), Pro $12 a month (2 TB, up to 3 users at $8 each), Growth $70 a month (5 TB, 4 users, $4 per extra user), extra storage $9 per TB a month, billed annually.

Vimeo costs less than Brault in two of the four rows, the small teams on Standard and Advanced, and buys a public video player and live events that Brault does not offer. The gap reverses for a freelancer who only needs private review, and for an account that Vimeo reclassifies to Studio.

Three costs to check before choosing a plan

  1. Bandwidth is capped. Self-serve plans stop at 2 TB of delivery a month; a popular embed or a heavy review round can reach it, and the next step is a sales conversation.
  2. Managed storage is smaller than total storage. On Creator and Core, only 50 GB or 300 GB holds private and embedded video, which is most client work.
  3. Business use can change the plan. An account used by or for an organization can be moved to Studio at renewal, whatever its seat count.

Is Vimeo worth the price?

Vimeo is worth its price for teams that publish video: an ad-free player with branding, privacy by domain, embeds, showcases, analytics and live events are what the plans charge for, and Standard at $300 a year is modest for a five-person marketing team that hosts its own video.

Worth it

Marketing and communications teams that embed video on their own sites, run webinars, and want an ad-free branded player with lead capture and analytics.

Compare first

Agencies and studios that use Vimeo mainly to send cuts for client review. A Studio reclassification takes that use to $4,800 a year; price a review tool before renewal.

Different fit

Teams whose video never goes public and who need review, versions, approvals and large file delivery next to the rest of their creative files.

What are the alternatives if Vimeo pricing doesn't fit?

Three tools cover the review side of Vimeo on different pricing units: per member, per user and per terabyte of storage. None of them replaces Vimeo as a public video host. The wider field is in best Frame.io alternatives.

Frame.io

  • Best forEditors in Premiere Pro and After Effects who need frame-accurate client review
  • PricingPro $15, Team $25 per member a month, 13% off annually (see Frame.io pricing)
  • Free planYes; 2 members, 2 GB
  • Watch outPer member, and storage scales with seats; no public video player

Wipster

  • Best forMarketing teams reviewing short video at volume
  • PricingFrom $9.95 per user a month
  • Free planTrial
  • Watch outPer-user pricing and capped storage; review only, no hosting

Brault

  • Best forStudios and agencies of 1 to 20 that review, approve and deliver client video in one plan
  • Pricing$0 / $4 / $12 / $70 a month billed annually; extra storage $9 per TB a month
  • Free planYes; 2 GB, review and Brault Transfer, no card
  • Watch outNot a video host: no public player, embeds or live events

If the reason to pay Vimeo is client review rather than publishing, Brault prices by storage on a public page: $0 (Free, 2 GB), $4 a month (Lite, 200 GB), $12 a month (Pro, 2 TB, up to 3 users) and $70 a month (Growth, 5 TB, 4 users), billed annually, with extra storage at $9 per TB a month. Clients comment on the exact frame without an account, every cut stays as a version, approval state is a property on the Board, and branded share links and transfers deliver the master files, up to 250 GB per transfer on Growth. Brault is not a video host or a player for public embeds, so a team that publishes to its website keeps a host for that job. The per-member alternative is set out in Frame.io pricing and the product in the Frame.io review; the hub for this topic is creative asset management.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Vimeo cost?

Vimeo's pricing page lists Free at $0, Starter at $12 per seat a month billed annually ($20 monthly), Standard at $25 ($41 monthly) and Advanced at $75 ($125 monthly), with Enterprise on quote (verified on vimeo.com/upgrade-plan, 2026-10-14). In 2026 Vimeo began replacing these with Creator at $9.50 a month, Core (price not published) and Professional at $70 a month for individuals, and Studio for businesses, reported at $400 a month billed annually.

What are the Vimeo plans in 2026?

Vimeo runs two lineups in 2026. The pricing page still sells Free, Starter, Standard, Advanced and Enterprise. Vimeo's new-plans page says Creator, Core and Professional replace the individual plans, and that Starter, Standard, Advanced, Plus, Pro and other legacy subscriptions move to a new plan at their next renewal. Accounts that Vimeo's Plan Usage Policy classifies as business use go to Studio or Enterprise.

Does Vimeo charge per seat?

Vimeo labels Starter, Standard and Advanced prices "per seat / month", while its comparison table lists 1, 5 and 10 users on those plans and the help center allows up to 200 seats. Each plan includes the Owner seat; Admin and Contributor seats are bought on top, and Viewers who only watch and comment are free. On the new plans, Core includes 1 seat (up to 3) and Professional 10 (up to 20).

What is the Vimeo Studio plan?

Vimeo Studio is the plan Vimeo introduced in 2026 for small and medium businesses: 10 seats with 3 Admin seats, 10 TB of storage, 36 TB of yearly bandwidth with no monthly limit, priority support and up to 200 seats. Vimeo does not print the price on its Studio page; PhotographyTalk reported it at $400 a month billed annually, or $4,800 a year, on 2026-09-05.

Does Vimeo have a bandwidth limit?

Yes. Vimeo sets a 2 TB (2,000 GB) monthly bandwidth limit on its self-serve plans and says 99% of users never reach it; accounts that do are asked to reduce use or talk to sales, and the limit applies across jointly controlled accounts. The new Free and Creator plans list 1 TB a month, Core and Professional 2 TB, and Studio 36 TB a year.

What happened to Vimeo Plus and Pro?

Vimeo Plus and Pro are legacy plans. Vimeo's 2026 new-plans page says Plus, Pro, Starter, Standard, Advanced and other legacy subscriptions are automatically moved to Creator, Core or Professional at their next renewal, with an email about 30 days before. Videos are not deleted in the move, and subscribers can switch or cancel before the renewal date from the Billing page.
